I just started this new book Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs. The fact that I love food, makes this book seem like a great read from the start. The story unfolds quite fast which I enjoy. The main character Gus, *who is a women* is a professional chief who has her own show on the cooking network. I love the descriptions of her meals, and I have such a clear picture of her in my mind. I think of all the real life food network stars and somewhat work off of that. The story goes between Gus's life, and her two daughters lives as well. The story is just getting started, so I'll keep you updated!
