My Sister's Keeper: Second Half

By the time you are half way through you won't be able to put the book down. Never in my life i thought i could understand someone so well. Despite the fact that Kate is just a character, i feel like i have known her for years. Picoult gives you the play by play of Kates life while struggling to survive with cancer. Kate tends to talk about how she likes one of the guys at the hospital, preparing for the worst with her disease, and about the problems she feels she's causing for her family. Anna is still in the process of trying to sue her parents and later on they find out. Sara-Anna and Kates mom goes insane. If Anna loves her sister so much then why would she discontinue to give Kate what she needs? They also have a brother Jesse who is a destructive teenager. I guess it's because he doesn't know what to do with him self; Sara and her husband Brian are constantly at the hospital with Kate. Jesse has nothing better to do and he becomes full of rage. Why do his parents block him out of their mind completely? The entire book is filled with all the emotions of the characters and it seems so real its scary. The ending is a complete surprise and makes you wonder about peoples intentions. I recommend this book to mainly teenagers and older, and someone who wouldn't mind shedding a few tears.
