This book is extremely vigorous and talked about very heavy topics. Jodi Picoult did an amazing job of constantly keeping the book filled with action. Each chapter is divided by the different characters, giving us a chance to really understand how each person feels. The main character Anna has to give her sick sister Kate her own bone marrow and body parts as well. Anna realizes that she doesn't have to help her sister so she tries to sue her parents to the rights of her own body. The first half is basically just giving the reader background info about the family and foreshadows a lot whats going to happen later on. However, its intense and makes you want to find out whats going to happen to Kate; because is Anna decides not to give her the organs and blood she needs, Kate will die.
