The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

So I just started this book and I am quite happy. The story is in the point of a boy who writes in a journal. Its not like the typical journal book where the writer says what the date is and talks about pointless things. The main characters name is Charlie and he starts off each letter by saying "Dear Friend". The story is all about his life, his crushes, his sister and his awkward self. Charlie is such an interesting boy, for example he talks about his favorite books, yet he says every new book he reads is his new favorite. Charlie also tells us about his first party, and this new girl he likes. Her name is Sam and sadly Charlie has no chance with her. The story goes from one thing to another, so it is kind of hard to follow and remember certain details from the beginning. One thing I really like about this story is how insanely unique Charlie is. He is so interesting to read about-even though its a fictional character. I feel like I know him and that he is real. The things that happen to Charlie are so relatable and fascinating. It is a really short book so I'm almost done, thats all for now ttfn:)

The Lovely Bones: FINISHED!

The ending was so amazing and suspenseful. It upset me so much that Mr. Harvey was not found, and he easily escaped when Lindsay caught on to him. When Lindsay broke into his house my heart froze. I could imagine how creepy his house was, and how everything would be set up to seem like a normal livable home, when it was really the home of a perverted murderer. Also, Suzie's dad goes into the cornfield to follow Mr. Harvey and he wants to kill him, but it ends up being some kids and they end up beating him up. I was so sad when it wasn't Mr. Harvey that Suzie's dad found, because Mr. Harvey was really there, he just made it seem that he wasn't. That really upset me. Also I didn't mention previously, that Suzie's mother leaves them. I'm guess it was because she could not stand being in the same house where her own daughter used to live in. She comes back home however and they all except her back happily. There is a lot more that happens in the end but it is honestly way to confusing to explain over a blog, so you'll have to read the book to find out what else goes on! I think anyone that wants a touching, yet twisted story that will keep you hooked, then this is a great book for you.
